Het werk

Het werk vind ik zelf leuk, elke dag is anders. Het werk is heel eenvoudig maar de situatie is elke keer anders, zelf de cheffin ook. Ik snap dit niet, ik bedoel, ik heb een onverwachte dingen allemaal meegemaakt. Vorige week waren wij aan het zitten jointje te roken achter het gebouw en toevallig heeft de cheffin ons gezien. Ik heb gehoord dat zij een strenge cheffin is en van haar gedrag is al gemerkt dat zij streng is. Ze was in de opslagruimte, ging het raam heel hard slaan en ze zei iets maar we konden haar niet verstaan. Een jongen ging direct weg omdat zij hem jointje zag draaien. We allemaal dachten ook dat de cheffin boos werd omdat zij hem zo gezien heeft maar ondertussen maakte zij het raam open en zei,”die jongen heeft vijf dagen op mijn plek gewerkt maar tot nu toe heeft hij nog geen dag tegen me gezegd! wat een soort lul ben jij! hey, kom terug, dag zeggen tegen mij, sukkel” Het was echt schrikkend, we dachten dat zij over jointje aan ons zou vragen. Ik dacht echt dat zij ons zou ontslaan.

Jeugdloon

Het is echt belachelijk hoe bedrijven medewerkers zoeken. Oudere mensen hebben weiniger kansen dan jongere, het komt door de jeugd/minimuum loon: als zij goede en jongere iemand hebben dan hoeven ze minder te betalen dan de oudere. Boven de 22 jarige jongeren hebben geen recht meer op minimuum loon, ze hebben een normale loon. Diploma speelt echt een rol, ik denk niet dat zij jongere iemand zouden kiezen als zij oudere candidaat hebben die meer ervaringen en genoeg papieren bij zich heeft en daarom vind ik nu nooit genoeg om te leren, ik heb richting financieel gestudeerd (mijn notebook kan geen e met dubbele puntjes maken) maar ik vind dat het nog niet goed genoeg is en daarom heb ik een plan om avondopleiding te volgen of volledige dagopleiding volgend jaar volgen (naar hogere niveau stappen); nu ik een baan heb denk ik aan avondopleiding. Ik heb op spits gelezen dat zij de minimuumloon willen stoppen. Ik vind dit wel een idee, dan hebben oudere mensen veel meer kansen dan nu, dan worden zij niet op straat gezet, iedereen kan werk vinden en de bedrijven zullen niet op leeftijd kiezen!!!

tis echt niet eerlijk…

Tegen mijn moeder zei die dat hij van me houdt, aan haar vraagt hij nog waar ik ben en met wie ik omga. Maar tegen mij zegt hij,”ik hoef niets van je te horen” en ondertussen gaat hij me vragen waarom ik met sis en sus omga, ondertussen heeft hij nog contact met mijn moeder, hij heeft haar al haar plastiek zaken (van winkels) helpen brengen toen hij haar in de stad ontmoette, aan haar vroeg hij door hoe het met mij ging.

Ik snap die jongen een beetje niet, hoor. Hij is mijn ex, ik heb hem verlaten omdat we te veel problemen hebben gehad, ik dacht dat wij niet echt gelukkig met elkaar waren, maar ik wil hem altijd blij zien omdat ik van hem houd dus heb ik het uitgemaakt om hem blij te maken. Ik dacht dat hij blij zou worden als ik weg ben…

Update this weblog regularly

I am thinking to update this weblog more regularly on this blog than my primary weblog, but then I’ll probably post it in Dutch language so I’m sorry for those who don’t understand Dutch.

Nu heb ik pas door wat een vriend van me bedoelde met meisjes die op stoere jongens vallen. Ik heb tegen hem gezegd dat ik niet echt op stoere jongen val (ik bedoel, het maakt niet uit of hij gave kleden draagt, als hij leuk is dan wordt het oke). Maar als ik leuke dingen heb ga ik ook stoer doen, mijn vriend(in)en doen ook stoer. Dit heb ik pas gemerkt, hoor. Het is niet leuk om uit te gaan met jongen die niet goed uitziet (geen leuke kleding dragen). Ik ken geen reden waarom vrouwen bij winkelen horen maar ik heb mijn eigen redenen waarom. Ik wil er altijd fresh zijn, ik vind het niet leuk als ik voortdurend kleding draag die ik de dag daarvoor gedragen heb en ik ben eigenlijk moeilijk, ik houd niet van dingen (schoenen, tassen, jassen, enz) die veel mensen gebruiken omdat het dan niet meer gaf is als iedereen dezelfde spullen als de mijne heeft zo als ik onderweg naar mijn werk ben ga ik de mensen kijken, meestal schoenen en jassen. Als ik een jas wil kopen dan ga ik denken of veel mensen hem al hebben of niet. Ik wil altijd dingen hebben die anders zijn dan de andere, het maakt niet uit of het echt duur is of niet, als ik het geld heb dan koop ik. Prijs maakt niet zoveel uit als ik maar geld bij me heb. Maar ik heb ooit ongeveer 1000 euros zomaar verloren, voor niks. En nee, ik heb niks gekocht, ik heb het uitgegeven. ’tis kut, hoor :(

Firefox 1.5 Beta 1

The firefox 1.5 Beta 1 looks good, it’s faster but it disabled all the extensions and themes I have and the WP browser sniff plug-ins still told that I use FF 1.0.4. The Shift + Page Up and Down also works much faster. Nevertheless I like this beta version and I’m waiting till the real version is up (not Beta). The tabs can be dragged, just like Opera. In the end I like the default theme of FF more than the modified theme, this is more simple, hehe!

I don’t know what IE has been thinking before that they just released the tab browsing feature on the newest IE version while Gecko already has its feature far before this. I think it’s because lots of users have changed their browsers to FF and most of them have one same reason: Tab browsing feature and that’s why IE thinks brightly to also create it JUST now! And that’s not FF users’ fault if we tell IE users that their layouts look messy in FF, it’s because the HTML codes, or the CSS aren’t valid and it’s also not FF users’ fault if we say that Firefox is better than IE, it’s the reality. I don’t like to require users to use browser that fits my layout, if it gives error on another browser, I’d make it better, the same happens if I surf other site, I don’t like requirement as: best view in Internet Explorer 6, screen resolution must be 1024 and bla bla bla …. as Walmart for the example, it requires users to use IE first before we can buy something there, what an annoying site that it is!

Mac users in this country

As what I have seen, most soft and hardware shops in the Netherlands only sell stuff for Windows as there are more windows users in this country than the Macintosh. I have to go to the big city as Utrecht to buy Macintosh, and it’s available on the Apple store. Here in my place I just found a shop that sells iBook and Powerbook, the other shops? They only sells Microsoft windows. Macintosh doesn’t seem so famous in this country, I think it’s probably because it’s more expensive than Windows and therefore lots of people have no idea about Macintosh. iPod (iPod shuffle, iPod, Photo, Nano, etc) is famous in this country just because we can also use it for windows and the people feel comfortable to listen to the music during their trip in the train or bus. IMHO, they are more interested in music.

And according to me, the shops only sells the stuff which lots of people need. Expert Schoemaker (I forgot how to write it, the name is so difficult for me to remember hehe!) for the example, they mostly sell television than the computer, they probably get more customers who need big television than the customers who need mobile phones and computer (both PC and notebook). If I compare it to Dixons I should choose Dixons because it’s more complete for me and what I need is usually computer soft and hardware.

en waarom wordpress?

En, waarom gebruikt u wordpress? In mijn eigen woorden, steeds meer nederlandse webloggers WP hebben gekozen om hun weblog te beheersen, meeste van hun gebruiken Pivot. Iemand kunt nieuwe weblog maken met Pivot, hij of zij hoeft ook geen database MySQL te maken. Maar of het veilig is? Denk ik van niet. Want als iemand toegang krijgt op uw Pivot admin paneel, kunt hij of zij al uw posts in een minuut verwijderen. U hebt gelukt als u een back up hebt, als niet? Dan hebt u meer dan pech, u hebt dan alles verloren.

Ik zou ook niet zeggen dat niemand uw posts kunt verwijderen als u Word Press hebt, maar het wordt niet direct verwijderd alleen met een klikje te doen, u kunt het nog voorkomen. Het is een best idee als u aan niemand vertelt over de link waar u kunt inloggen, probeer een link te maken waar niemand uw inlog pagina kunt raden.

Word Press tutorial in Dutch

Do you speak Dutch? This site seems to start giving the tutorial about how to make wordpress theme in Dutch language. I see it’s new and the author doesn’t give any tutorial yet but I hope to see the tutorial in Dutch language on this site ASAP. Or I will try to make one as well, although it’s complicated.

WordPress as my weblog’s tool

After installing and trying out another weblog’s tool as TextPattern, MoveableType, Pivot, CuteNews, and Nucleus, I finally chose Word Press as my weblog’s tool for the replacement of PMachine. I chose WP because I like the development, plug-ins, and many other things I couldn’t get on PMachine as they seemed to only take their Expression Engine’s users as number one priority and help them more than PMachine PRO users. I used to collect all the hackscripts of PMachine when I still used PMachine to avoid losing one of the hackscripts I had because it’s very hard for me and all the PMachine users to find all those hackscripts one by one by calling google. PMachine doesn’t have a Wiki, they also don’t care to collect all the hackscripts they’ve made on one site. Expression Engine, which is a paid blogging tool, is not so popular as Word Press. According to me, not all of the people have a thought to pay its expensive blogging tool, pity. For about 1 1/2 years I’ve been using PMachine I finally had to say goodbye to PMachine but I was still asking myself whether Word Press really fits me or not. Luckily, they’ve already released WP 1.5.0 at the time I moved to Word Press, I started enjoying this weblog’s tool more than ever although I got difficulty with changing the theme and making new theme. But there are lots of nice WP Themes out there which I can just install within few minutes.

I use WP for my weblog’s tool because I see that its weblog’s tool is great and they, especially Matt, have a big obsession to improve WP more. Lots of webloggers have moved to Word Press for one main reason: they don’t want to pay for weblog’s tool and they also find Word Press as a great free weblog’s tool. And I don’t think it’s fine to require users to pay for a weblog’s tool from the first release as the users might be asking themselves whether they will really use its weblog’s tool or not, whether it’s worth it or not. When the users get disappointed if they don’t like it, they surely don’t get their money back and it will be spent for nothing. This payment requirement also doesn’t seem to grow and no wonder if lots of webloggers out there move to Word Press. Since WordPress.com is released, the big thing that happens on the blogosphere now, it gives a good impression for the other webloggers to choose Word Press as their weblog’s tool.

Here on the dashboard I can see the top wordpress.com blogs and the top posts from around wordpress.com. I start to enjoy wordpress.com just now! ;) Thanks Matt for enabling this feature and thanks Andy for the code-fu. From the dashboard itself I can click one of these options:

Wat u wel en niet kunt doen met wordpress.com

Als anderen de reviews in andere talen gepost hebben, post ik nu in het Nederlands. WordPress.com gebruikt WP MU versie 1.6, alhoewel het een beta versie is, is het verstandig voor de gebruikers om de web ontwikkelaar te vertellen als zij een bugs hebben gevonden of als zij een suggestie, en vragen hebben. Om dat te doen kunnen de gebruiken op de link dat op de recht boven de admin paneel te klikken, dit is hoe het eruit ziet:

Jammer genoeg kunt elke gebruiker alleen maar een persoon uit te nodigen om een account op wordpress.com te krijgen en dat gebeurt ook niet zomaar, ze willen natuurlijk weten wat anderen met deze account zouden gebruiken en daarvoor vragen ze over de redenen en als de redenen goed zijn mogen degene uitgenodigd worden.

U krijgt ook een limiet wanneer u een afbeelding wilt uploaden, momenteel krijgt u 25 MB ruimte.

WP Themes

Lots of theme makers created a theme which are based on Kubrick theme. Lots of them admitted that the themes they made were based on kubrick. But I find so weird when someone edited the kubrick theme so that it looked so different and then submitted it for the WP Theme contest. According to me, such people didn’t have any obsession to win, or they probably only wanted their themes to be seen, downloaded and used by other people to make their Google PR higher. But as kubrick is already used for a default theme I guess Binarybonsai just had to face it.

In 2005 the Lord gave us the theme: We have never seen anything like this (Mark 2:12). In Mark 2 we see how the paralysed man was healed by Lord Jesus. In fact, this was also because he had the right companions. Therefore let us learn from Psalms 1:1.

CONTENT
1. Watch out for who’s around you
“Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked.” If you want to experience progress, happiness, success and live in God’s blessings you have to decide who should be around you. It’s just like the story of the paralysed man, because “He who walks with the wise grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm.” (Proverbs 13:20).

2. Be friend with those who believe in the Lord
“Blessed is the man who does not stand in the way of sinners” The paralysed man had friends who believed in the Lord Jesus. The did not give up easily due to their belief in the Lord; on the contrary they did even more (Hebrews 11:6). Brethren, you will experience many miracles and victories if you have friends that believe in Lord Jesus (live according to the word of God).

3. Choose for friends who build you up
“Blessed is the man who does not sit in the seat of mockers” Look at the friends of the paralysed man; they built up their friend’s faith. Brethren, building up are indeed more difficult. Likewise with seeking friends who build you up is more difficult than friends who destroy you. “Do not be misled: Bad company corrupts good character.” (1 Corinthians 15:33).

CONCLUSION
In principle, this is a matter of choice. When you obey the word of God in Psalm 1:1, you will make better choice so that your life will develop, your capacity will get bigger and you will be blessed. Blessed are you if you are surrounded by the righteous when you are walking, standing and seated.

Required

In the end I feel required, they probably don’t require me, but I just feel. I don’t have a big obsession to have an account here actually, because I knew I should think and think about what I have to post on this or on my primary weblog. I don’t want to get limitation, I don’t want to only write and hit the publish button, I can’t manage anything, I am limited. This is good but I don’t think I will abandone my primary weblog because I already know and feel which one will be abandoned. I feel thanked if I am given it as a gift for my third year anniversary of blogging which will be on 19th September, just a few weeks later. But on the other side I just feel required to post something which I find useful here, because I must give my reasons why I want to have an account on wordpress.com. I have always been telling public that I don’t find my house if I don’t have a paid host and domain name. This 1.6 development and admin area is nice, but it’s not the point, it’s about considering something as my home, feeling home. Remember, I have never asked for invitation to anyone, nor have I asked it on Matt’s weblog, when GMail was just released I got invitation directly from blogger, not from someone else and that’s the reason why I’ve never asked for something. But it doesn’t mean I will not update this weblog, I just feel required to post something useful. Remember, I am asked, I haven’t asked. Do I have a right to post something I want here? They can say that I have the right, but look, from the beginning I already had to give a reason about what I should do if I got an account on wordpress.com, that’s the point why I feel so required.

But I will not abandone this weblog, I however like this wordpress.com. I unfortunately don’t have much time anymore as when I posted something about wordpress.com, because I just got a job and if I come home I am thinking what to post on both weblogs, I will write a review on this later.

Web design

There’s a college in a city near by my place that you can choose which one you’ll learn between these:
- Web design
- PHP
- ASP
I have been there to attend web design class, the softwares they used were mostly photo shop, dream weaver MX. I saw that they really taught the students from the start about how to make and change a font color, background color, just a very simpler HTML codes most of you already knew (CSS, you think? Nope, not yet. They still used table tags and added the font size, color, background color, image, etc in the table tag itself). I attended this class for a while besides my real study (one day, it’s on saturday morning. This college is full with people who already have job so we could choose when we wanted to study, in the evening, or only on saturday, most of these people studied there because they’re sent by their companies to follow these courses, the companies paid 1/2 of the normal price and they paid the rest of it. Me? Individual and it really costed me a lots, just for few classes in few weeks). This was a short term course, my mind changed and I decided to attend PHP class but unfortunately I got difficulty with the time and if I attended it, my real study would be abandoned. I felt that I’ve chosen a wrong way, I felt I should have chosen PHP class in the beginning, no matter if I had to attend the evening class. When I wanted to switch I was already busy preparing for my internship, finishing the papers, interviewing a company and got interviewed before the study ended and before my internship started.

For me, I could learn about CSS, making/editing something with photo shop, HTML-codes manually as there are lots of tutorial sites on the net already. But PHP? It’s more complicated for me to learn manually even though I already have a PHP4 complete hand book. This book has 625 pages and I really have to re-read again and again. I can make layout by learning it manually, I can make vector image by learning it from the tutorial site, but to really make a PHP scripts I have to be guided/taught as this is a scripting language and guess what, I learn more from a weblog, I don’t only get inspiration, ideas, etc, but I am able to make a layout know about PHP codes (to know about PHP codes doesn’t mean I can code, at least I know how it looks like. But don’t ask me about CGI as I am really blind of it and it doesn’t interest me). All of these things come from having a weblog and site, if I didn’t have weblog, I shouldn’t know how to make layout, shouldn’t even know that PHP and CGI exist on the net.

It’s however nice to learn about web design manually, or in the tutorial books. But learning it from the tutorial site is way more cheaper than buying a book. These are the links which I find useful:

My opinion about web designer and web developer (or just someone who has learnt about scripting lanugages, what is s/he called? Sorry, I am very tired this moment, my mind doesn’t work properly LOL). Web designer is learning about “design”, so if I learn about design, doesn’t mean I can code, but if I learn about scripting languages (PHP, ASP, CGI, etc) I still can learn about how to design a layout manually. It’s nice to do it, being otodidac. It’s better if I also can code besides design. There are many ways to learn about html-codes, css, making/editing something with photo shop, etc. Sourcing the page is not that bad, I learn something from it. Sourcing the page becomes bad when people abuse it, they copy the whole content and consider it as their own made layout, instead of learning how to put this and that in a right place, instead of learning new tags. This is perhaps one of the reasons why people don’t like if someone sources their pages, because they don’t know what s/he does due to the numbers of copycats.

Or is it just me? I know I just got this account but the next thing I like from this wordpress.com is that I don’t need to add my Web URL, email, etc to comment on another wordpress.com blog if I already logged in on my wordpress.com

Or is it the same for blogsome.com?!? And the other thing I like from this wordpress.com is that I got few hints when I tried to make a new category, for the example I put “word” as the word and it appears like this:

I use firefox now and it looks okay. If I use Opera, it looks like this:

Why does it not appear as how it used to in Opera?

Anyway, I enjoy the normal page editing more than the WYSIWYG one because when I clicked on ‘edit’, my firefox didn’t show the messages and I had to uncheck the visual rich editor first. The weird thing is, now that I have unchecked it, the tags appear below the post column while I have a large size of the post box, it is set to 30 lines as how I usually do. I hope that they will replace it to the top as how it used to on my primary weblog.

First of all, thank you for the invitation. Now it took me few minutes before posting to explore everything inside this engine, as he said that he lose his touch on his blogsome account, I am afraid I will lose my touch on my primary weblog, but I hope I won’t :D

So, this is my first post on wordpress.com, it took me a while to think about the URL. Why log.wordpress.com? Because if I used anonymuis.wordpress.com it would be a bit too long, isn’t log.wordpress.com more simple? :P Now I am still learning this, I am still trying to find out how to make it like this:
